Hometown Aurangabad, Maharashtra

Early Life in Aurangabad

Born and raised in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Abhijeet Dipke grew up in a middle-class family that was deeply aware of the political currents around them. Aurangabad — a city rich in Mughal history but grappling with modern infrastructural challenges — shaped his early understanding of how governance failures impact ordinary lives.

Education at Boston University

Abhijeet pursued a degree in Public Relations from Boston University, one of America's premier communications schools. At BU, he was exposed to the mechanics of mass communication, digital campaigning, and narrative-building — skills that would later prove crucial in engineering the fastest-growing political satire movement in Indian history.

AAP Background

Before founding CJP, Abhijeet worked as a social media volunteer for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). This experience gave him firsthand insight into how a relatively young political party could use digital platforms to punch above its weight. He learned the playbook of anti-establishment politics from inside one of India's most innovative political communication machines.

Creating the CJP Movement

In 2026, during a Supreme Court hearing, Chief Justice Surya Kant used the term "cockroach" to describe a particular breed of political defectors. The word caught fire on social media. Where most saw an insult, Abhijeet saw an opportunity. Within hours, he registered Instagram handles, designed a logo (a smartphone with antennae), and posted the first CJP manifesto. The movement grew from 0 to 15 million followers in under a week. BBC, Reuters, and every major Indian news outlet covered it.

"They called us cockroaches. We said — fine. Now watch us inherit the earth."
