Our 5 Demands
We aren't just a meme. We stand for radical institutional reform. Here is what the Cockroach Janta Party is fighting for.
No Rajya Sabha Seats for Retired CJIs
Ensure judicial independence by restricting Supreme Court judges from entering the Rajya Sabha immediately post-retirement.
UAPA for Vote Deletion
Enforce strict penal laws against authorities who systematically delete verified citizen votes and undermine democracy.
50% Women's Reservation in Parliament
Equal representation natively. We demand 50% reservation for women in forming the country's policies.
Cancel Corporate Media Licences
Abolish media monopolies that function as political wings. Revoke licenses of organizations failing journalistic integrity.
20-Year Ban on Political Defectors
Eradicate horse-trading. Politicians who betray their voters by switching parties face an absolute 20-year ban from elections.
What is Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)?
Cockroach Janta Party — also called Cockroach Janata Party, Cockroach People's Party, or simply CJP Party — is India's viral satirical youth political movement. Founded by Abhijeet Dipke in May 2026 after CJI Surya Kant controversially compared unemployed youth to cockroaches, CJP has grown from a single tweet into a 15 million+ follower movement covered by BBC, Economic Times, and India Today.
Satire with Substance
CJP uses humour and memes to highlight serious issues: unemployment, corporate media bias, judicial conflicts of interest, and erosion of democratic institutions. The 5 demands in the CJP manifesto address real problems facing India.
Digital-First Movement
With a smartphone as its election symbol, CJP is India's first truly digital political movement. No rallies, no pamphlets — just Instagram Reels, viral memes, and the #MainBhiCockroach hashtag that has been used millions of times across platforms.
Youth Leadership
CJP is run by and for India's Gen Z. Founder Abhijeet Dipke (age 30, Boston University graduate) built a 15M+ follower movement in under two weeks. Political figures like Mahua Moitra, Kirti Azad, and Akhilesh Yadav have publicly supported the movement.
